Pearson is a renovation of an historic home by Lobo Builders, LLC.
The home is located in the Montford Historic District. The exterior’s original historic character was restored, while the interior was updated in an industrial modern style.
The kitchen and dining area were completely redesigned. The metal elements in the home were fabricated by Bradley Barrett. http://salvagedoors.blogspot.com/
The ceiling was removed to expose the original wood joists. The kitchen space now opens to the loft and new skylights above giving the space additional volume and light.
The wonderful old brick chimney was exposed and left unfinished. The contrast with the original mantel and tile fits the new character of the home. The floors were cleaned and refinished.
Lots of light in the new main bathroom. The wainscot is the original porch ceiling.
Loft space overlooking the kitchen and dining area below.
View from the kitchen looking back at the original two sided fireplace.
New granite counters and undermount sink.
